I am 63 years old. I was born and raised in Cochranton, PA.
I started to work at the age of 13. I worked on a truck farm in the summer, and in a restaurant in the winter. I learned the values of hard work early in life.
Just one note, no I do not have a birth certificate if anyone can find one for me please let me know.
After graduating from high school I joined the Marine Corps. After boot camp at Paris island South Carolina, and radio operator’s school in San Diego, California. I was stationed in Viet Nam as a radioman with grunt units. Where I also attended Demolition and Land Mine School.
After my tour in Viet Nam I was stationed at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California as a forward observer with an artillery unit, where I served out the balance of my enlistment, earning The National Defense Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, with 2 stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnamese ross Of gallantry, Rifle Expert badge, Pistol Marksman. I left the Marine Corps as a Corporal E-4. I am a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans.
While I was stationed at Camp Pendleton I met and married my wife of 44 years. I have a beautiful daughter, and a wonderful son. I also have 7 grandkids.
I am currently on disability. Before that I last worked as a paramedic in north western Pennsylvania. I belong to the Sandy Lake Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company. Where I served as President for two and a half years.
I know pretty boring stuff huh.
